A3 Shackleford to Milford Major Maintenance
The Project
Major maintenance work to the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A3, between the A283 Milford Interchange and the Hurtmore Interchange, is now complete. Work started on 9th February 2009, and took 14 weeks to complete.
The work involved carriageway resurfacing, drainage works, safety fence replacements and the installation of new road signs. The work was necessary to maintain the safety and serviceability of the A3 for road users.
