Where was the project located?
The project was located on the bridge which carries the A184 over White Mare Pool roundabout.
Why was the scheme needed?
The scheme was needed to repair the concrete piers and to replace the bank seat abutments.
What work was carried out?
Essential repairs to the concrete bridge and the installation of a concrete protection system.
How did this benefit road users?
The bridge will not now need any major maintenance for a long time, so road users have this busy route preserved and will not be inconvenienced with any bridge maintenance for many years.
