The Project
This Scheme is promoted by Devon County Council to improve access between the A30(T) and M5 at Junction 29, particularly for southbound motorway traffic. A press release from Devon County Council issued 9 May 2011 is available on their website.
The Highways Agency supports Devon County Council's wider objectives to improve the highway network east of Exeter.
An environmental assessment of the proposed scheme has been carried out and details published by the Highways Agency in an Environmental Statement. The Non-Technical Summary of the Environmental Statement (NTS) is available in the Publications section of this website.
