The Project

The Highways Agency are pleased to announce the maintenance works to the A34 Newbury Bypass, between Tot Hill and the junction with the A339 just south of the A34/M4 have been completed.

This section of the A34 carriageway was in a deteriorating condition and required maintenance works to extend the life of the carriageway and provide a durable and reliable road surface for drivers. Every effort is made to reduce (as far as possible) the impact on the roaduser.

Estimated £7.2 million for both Phases.
