M6 Jct 33 to 34 Concrete Barrier and Surfacing Works
The Project
We have conducted essential resurfacing works and safety barrier replacement between Junctions 33 and 34 of the M6. Works affected the northbound and southbound carriageways and included:
- removal of the steel barrier in the central reservation
- hardening the central reservation
- construction of a concrete barrier in the central reservation
- resurfacing to all running lanes northbound and southbound
- The works started on 7 September 2009 and were completed by early December 2009.
