The Project Control Framework
This framework sets out how we, together with the Department for Transport, manage and deliver major road improvement projects.
Public Consultation
Public Consultation
The purpose of this public consultation is to seek the views of statutory bodies and other interested parties, including people living, working and travelling in the area of the proposals to improve the junction.
We are holding an additional Public Consultation Exhibition, following the exhibition held in November at Cobalt Business Park. This will be held at:
Travelodge Newcastle Silverlink
Silverlink Park
Coast Road
Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
NE28 9ND
Opening Times:
Friday 26th February - 12.00pm until 8.00pm
Saturday 27th February - 10.00am until 4.00pm
We are seeking views on whether the public consider the options chosen are appropriate and help us to inform the further development of the scheme. The closing date for your views has been extended to 12 March 2010.
You can let us have your views on the proposals by completing the Questionnaire on this website.
All households in the local area will receive the Public Consultation Leaflet and a pre-paid copy of the Questionnaire which can be posted back to us. The questionnaire can also be handed in at the public exhibition.
The scheme details will be on display at the exhibition. The Highways Agency and their consultants will be available to discuss the proposal and answer your questions.
Following this exhibition the Highways Agency will analyse the feedback and returns from the stakeholders and customers. Your views are important to us and we will carefully consider them, together with those of our stakeholders and other bodies during the development of the proposals.
