The Project

Amey on behalf of the Highways Agency carried out essential repair work to a section of Oldbury Viaduct which supports the M5 motorway, as part of an on going repair strategy.

The works commenced in January 2010 and were completed on 30th June 2011.

The works consisted of erecting access scaffolding, concrete repairs using hydro demolition, installation of a protective system and removal of the temporary support steelwork.
