M6 Junction 9 - 10 Resurfacing
Where was the project located?
We have successfully resurfaced the M6 northbound and southbound between junctions 9 and 10.
Why was the scheme needed?
The road surface at this location had deteriorated and cracked, and offered low skid resistance.
What work was carried out?
We resurfaced areas of all lanes both northbound and southbound between junctions 9 and 10, and we also repaired existing carriageway joints to prevent future deterioration.
How did this benefit road users?
Our works have made the road surface quieter with improved skid resistance. We have also improved safety for road users.
