M5 Junction 14 Falfield Safety Improvement
Key information
These works will commence on Sunday 7 November 2004 and are expected to last for seven weeks. Working hours will generally be 07.30 to 17.30 from Mondays to Saturdays.
The installation of the new lights will also necessitate occasional overnight closures of the northbound and southbound exit slip roads. During these periods, works will be carried out between 22.00 and 06.00 Mondays to Fridays, and 22.00 to 08.00 Saturdays and Sundays. Only one slip road will be closed at any one time.
The following diversion routes will be in place during these periods:
- When the M5 Junction 14 Northbound Off Slip is closed, traffic will be diverted to M5 Junction 13, where traffic will be signed to take the M5 Southbound carriageway back to Junction 14.
- When the M5 Junction 14 Southbound Off Slip is closed, traffic will be diverted to M5 Junction 16, where traffic will be signed to take the M5 Northbound carriageway back to Junction 14.
