July 2002Route Seminars - The Highways Agency will be inviting a wide range of outside organisations, local transport and public groups and other interested parties, to contribute to the Strategy at a seminar to be held in autumn of this year. The wider public will also have the opportunity to comment as part of the overall process.
September 2002 and October 2002Value Management Workshops - The purpose of the Workshops will be to:
develop the general form of the Strategy
identify the best ideas for future action
determine the form of consultation
(Attendance at the workshops will be limited to a small number of key stakeholders)
January 2003Consultation - The wider public have the opportunity to comment as part of the overall process
Spring 2003Publish Strategy - Ten year programme for managing the route.
