The Project
The A2 Bean to Cobham: Phase 1 scheme is a widening scheme that has a been split into 2 phases. Phase 1a has been built by CTRL, as part of accommodating new traffic that will be driving to and from their new international station at Ebbsfleet. This was completed in December 2004. Phase 1b was widening of the A2 from Bean to Ebbsfleet and this section was completed by our contactors Birse in April 2004. The new junction at Ebbsfleet was opened on the 9th March 2005.
