The Project
On 2nd August, for a duration of 14 weeks, the Highways Agency will install new signing and construct a shared footpath and cycle facility on the A259 at Barnhorn. Also carriageway widths will be reduced on the approach to Barnhorn where the derestricted speed limit changes to 30mph. This will improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. The works will take place between 9:30am - 4:00pm and 7:30pm - 5:00am, to minimise disruption to road users.
