The Project
On Monday 02 August, preparatory works, involving isolated lane closures will commence. These preparatory works involve setting out diversion route signs and constructing the works site. The main scheme will begin on Monday 09 August, when the works will commence. The works involve resurfacing to improve safety and reduce traffic noise.
Work will be carried out during off-peak hours, between 7:00am and 7:00pm. However, some work will need to be carried out between the off-peak daytime hours of 10:00am and 3:30pm. During the works, overnight closures will be in operation with diversion routes. Contra-flow working and lane restrictions will also be in place 24 hours per day.
