The Project

The M25 Junctions 12 - 15 Widening project is now complete.

The project was completed ahead of schedule on the 28 November 2005. The Right Honourable Alistair Darling MP, Secretary of State for Transport, attended a completion ceremony on Tuesday 13 December to unveil a commemorative plaque to mark this occasion.

The motorway is now running at 5 lanes in each direction between Junctions 12 - 14 and 6 lanes in each direction between Junctions 14 and 15. Improvements have been made to both Junctions 13 and 14. This section of motorway is now running at the national speed limit subject to the variable speed limits in operation.

Although the project is complete there is still some work to do on the bridges which will take place on the weekend of the 22 - 23 July 2006.
