The Project
Work to either close, upgrade or change to emergency use laybys along the westbound A14 Newmarket Bypass commenced on 17 January 2005 and was scheduled to be completed by 25 March 2005.
The scheme overran due to technical difficulties and inclement weather and was completed later than expected on 26 May 2005.
