Route Description
A47/A12 (Peterborough to Lowestoft)
Route description
For the convenience of the strategy the route has been broken into the following 6 sections:
Section A
A 23.8 km (14.8 mile) stretch of road along the A47 from the A1 junction to the City of Peterborough border at Thorney Toll.

Section B
A 39.7 km (24.7 mile) stretch of road along the A47 from the City of Peterborough border to King's Lynn at Pullover Roundabout, A17T.

Section C
A 44.3 km (27.5 mile) stretch of road along the A47 from King's Lynn to East Dereham at Toftwood Interchange, A1075.
Section D
A 28.0 km (17.4 mile) stretch of road along the A47 from East Dereham to Norwich at Ipswich Road Interchange, A140T.

Section E
A 31.5 km (19.7 mile) stretch of road along the A47 from Norwich through The Broads to the Vauxhall Roundabout, A12.
Section F
A 17.8 km (11.1 mile) stretch of road along the A12 from the A47, through Lowestoft and ending at the Bascule Bridge.
