Maintenance

M6 J6 Thornbridge, Witton and Gravelly Hill Viaducts

Location

Roadworks will be in place from 1 mile south of M6 J6 (Gravelly Hill) to 1 mile south of M6 J7 (Great Barr).
The overall length of Traffic Management will be 5 miles.

Traffic Management

Three narrow lanes will be maintained at peak times in both directions using contra-flow and hard shoulders. There will be additional lane closures although these will be overnight when traffic flows are lower.

Duration

The works will commence on 18 June 2001 and continue for 18 months.
