The Project
This web page contains information on the Route Management Strategy for the A5/M54/A449/A5. The whole of the route corridor lies within the West Midlands Region, passing through the counties of Shropshire and Staffordshire. The shady area is bordered to the South East by the West Midlands conurbation.
The Highways Agency commissioned Babtie Group to assist in the development of this Route Management Strategy, which has been produced in conjunction with Government Office for the West Midlands (GOWM). The process commenced in July 2003 and culminated with the publication of the finalised Route Management Strategy in November 2005.
