The Project
The RMS is being developed by the Highways Agency and its consultants, Halcrow Group Ltd. The process started in December 2000 with Public Consultation in 2002. Since then the scope of the RMS has been extended to include a full Land Use Development Control statement. The completed RMS was published on this website in December 2004.
The Highways Agency have carried out further studies on the issues raised and have now issued the Route Management Plan, which is available to view under Publications.
