M6 J22 to J23 north and southbound Resurfacing or M6 Major Winwick M742
When are we doing the work?
We will start work on 14 February and we will finish before the Easter holiday weekend. Delays will be minimised, as the resurfacing will be carried out overnight.
During this period the motorway will be closed overnight between Junction 22 and Junction 23 from 9.00pm until 10.30am as follows:
- Friday 4/5 March - northbound
- Saturday 5/6 March - northbound
- Friday 11/12 March - southbound
- Saturday 12/13 March - southbound
The direction of closures may change subject to progress.
In case there are delays due to bad weather further overnight closures may be required to complete the works as follows:
- Friday 18/19 March
- Saturday 19/20 March
