The Project
The work comprised construction of a single carriageway bridge over the A1 and closure of the central reserve crossing points at the crossroads. The work was completed and the bridge opened in August 2004. The bridge was officially opened on 17th August 2004 by Arthur Ashburner, the HA Divisional Director for Traffic Operations North.
