The Project

Works to reduce noise levels on the A46 at Warwick Bypass, began mid March 2005 and were completed mid June 2005.

The scheme involved the installation of a reflective environmental noise barrier adjacent to the southbound carriageway of the A46 to the north west of Warwick. The work was carried out on a 0.7 mile (1km) section of the carriageway from the Woodloes Lane Overbridge (north of the A4177/A425 Birmingham Road junction) to the A46 bridge over the Grand Union Canal.
