Current Progress
A500 City Road & Stoke Road Junction Improvement
September 2006
Works are nearing completion now, following the opening of the new dual carriageway section of the A500 on Tuesday 26th September through the new underpasses, and removal of the 30mph speed restriction on the main route.
Work is still continuing on the slip roads and link roads and on the side roads at City road and Stoke Road junctions, and lane closures will need to be implemented during off peak periods to allow these works to be carried out.
The Highways Agency would like to thank road users for their patience and for driving and courteously through the roadworks.
