A1 Darrington to Dishforth
The Project
This will comprise the following:
- The operation and maintenance of 53 kilometres (33 miles) of the A1 between Darrington (south of M62) and Dishforth (the junction with the A168);
- The construction of two of the Targeted Programme for Improvement (TPI) Schemes
- Safety improvements including improvements to the motorway communications system (motorway signing signalling and emergency telephones).
