The Project
This £1.1 million major maintenance scheme, which began on 05 September 2005 and was completed by 20 September 2005, involved essential maintenance work to reconstruct and strengthen the A31 carriageway between the Roundhouse roundabout (A350) and the Blandford Road Junction (B3074).
The finished work resulted in quieter surfacing materials and improved drainage, which in turn keeps the road safe and serviceable for road users.
