The Project

Overnight work to replace road studs and improve road markings on the A259 at Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, started on Monday 14 November and were finished by Friday 25 November 2005.

The work took place along a 0.8 mile (1.3km) section of both the west and east bound carriageways of the dual carriageway between the London Road junction with the A259 to the junction with Dorset Road.  Existing road studs were removed and replaced with new ones.

Carriageway markings were refreshed to improve visibility for drivers and as a result improve the safety of all road users.
