The Project

Walkers and cyclists have benefited from a new shared cycle and footpath, which has been built at the A27 Berwick roundabout, East Sussex, thanks to the Highways Agency. The work started on Monday 26 September and lasted for seven weeks..

The previous foot and cycle path were removed from around the roundabout and in its place a new, wider path was built to create a shared foot and cycle path. In addition a new pedestrian crossing was installed to help people cross the A27 more safely.
