The Project
The M20 between junctions 2 and 3 is a dual three lane carriageway with hard shoulders on both sides. The road surface in this area was coming towards the end of its useful life and needed to be repaired.
This work was necessary to prevent the concrete under the carriageway from deteriorating and to ensure that it stays in a safe condition for many years to come.
Other maintenance works were also undertaken, including street lighting replacement. drainage repairs, safety fence replacement, motorway communications, road markings, environmental and structural repairs.
