Route Description
A120 (Bishops Stortford - A12)
Route description
The A120 from the M11 to Braintree is an improved dual carriageway route which opened to traffic in July 2004. All junctions feature overpasses or underpasses in order to minimise delays and provide safer junctions. To the east of Braintree, the A120 is a single carriageway passing through the villages of Marks Tey and Bradwell and several hamlets. There are tight bends at the Coggeshall Bypass, and numerous driveways and local roads with direct access to the A120, which cause congestion and safety problems, particularly at peak times.
