The Project
Resurfacing and white lining work along sections of the A1 between Grantham and Stamford in Lincolnshire was carried out in November & December 2005.
The resurfacing work took place at 5 separate locations along this stretch of the A1 and required overnight closures, when traffic flows were at their lightest to allow the work to be carried out safely.
The completion of this work protects the carriageway from deterioration, keeping it safe and reducing road noise.
