The Project

Parapet protection works were carried out to the M6 Dunston Railway Bridge southbound carriageway. This is situated south of Stafford, approximately 500m north of Junction 13 of the M6 carrying the M6 over the Wolverhampton to Stafford railway line.

The protection works involved the construction of a new reinforced concrete plinth over the existing bridge deck, and a new reinforced concrete foundation within the hard shoulder for the installation of the steel barrier.

Works were completed 04 November 2005.
