The Project
We have carried out essential resurfacing of the A5. At the same time the Environment Agency has buillt a new twin culvert under the A5 as a flood relief channel to Ridings Brook.
We worked closely with the Environment Agency to co-ordinate the project in order to minimise disruption to the public.
How long did it take?
The Highways Agency's works started on Monday 14 November 2005 and were completed back in early December 2005.
The Environment Agency's works started in early September 2005 and were completed at the end of July 2006.
