The decision of the secretary of state
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions has considered the views of those who responded to the consultation and the recommendations of the Highways Agency.
He has concurred with the recommendations of the Highways Agency and has accordingly announced the preferred route incorporating the modifications listed above.
