Communications

Exhibition

We are holding an exhibition to show the scheme.

This will also provide an opportunity for those with particular concerns to discuss them with representatives from the Highways Agency and their consultants, Bullen Consultants Limited. The exhibition will be held at:

Parish Hall, Handcross on

Friday 16th May 2003 at 7.00pm 9.30pm

and Saturday 17th May 2003 at 10.00am 4.00pm

A free community bus service has been arranged to provide access to the exhibition from the local area.

2003 Ministers endorse the Preferred Route for this section of A23 taking account of views expressed.

2004 Further appraisal of the proposals leading to publication of draft Orders and an Environmental Statement.

2005 Public Inquiry held, if necessary 2006 Start of construction 2008 Completion of construction

Dates are dependent on the completion of Statutory Procedures and on funds being available
