The Project Control Framework
This framework sets out how we, together with the Department for Transport, manage and deliver major road improvement projects.
Introduction
In March 2001 public consultation took place on three different route options for widening the A2 to four lanes in each direction between Pepperhill and Cobham. After considering all of the responses received the Transport Minister has announced that the Red Route has been chosen as the preferred route, and will be taken forward to detailed design. This was the off-line option presented at the consultation exhibitions.
