The Project
We would like to inform local residents and motorists that the proposed Footway/Cycleway at the A449 Wall Heath was completed in June 2006
These works provided a shared use Footway/Cycleway on the Eastern side of the A449 from its junction with Swindon Road to Lodge Lane and we installed street lighting along this length with a speed limit reduction from 60mph to 40mph.
The cycleway is primarily used by school children which means they do not have to cross the busy road as they previously did.
