The Project
This was a combined safety and maintenance project on the M5 at both the A39 (Bath Road) overbridge and the A372 (Westonzoyland Road) overbridge between Junctions 23 and 24.
Work included the installation of a new safety barrier in front of existing parapets, re-waterproofing and resurfacing the carriageway, and replacing the joints on both bridges.
The work started on 23 January 2006 and was completed by 12 June 2006.
