  1. In January 2003 Northampton Borough Council has declared an AQMA which is located along the M1 with a strip 45-50m wide from central reserve. back [1]
  2. Luton Borough Council has declared an AQMA which is located in a narrow strip along the M1 in residential areas. back [2]
  3. St Albans City & District Council had declared a total 6 AQMAs from Stage 3 Review & Assessment, with 4 of them located along the M1. According to the changes recommended in Stage 4 Review & Assessment report, these 4 AQMAs have now been revoked. back [3]
