Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice in accordance with the Special Roads (Notice of Opening) Regulations 1992 that, for the purposes of section 17(5) and all other relevant provisions of the above Act, Friday 28 November 2003 will be the date on which the special road described in the following schedule is open for use as a special road.
The Schedule
M6 Toll (formally known as Birmingham Northern Relief Road)
The M6 Toll is a 27 mile long dual three lane motorway bypass in the West Midlands conurbation. M6 Toll connects at its southern end to the M6 just east of junction 4 at Coleshill. At its northern end the M6 Toll connects with the M6 at a new junction north of junction 11.
