The Project
The site is a dual two lane carriageway with hard shoulders on both sides. Various areas of the road surface have been identified as coming towards the end of its useful life and need to be repaired. This work will ensure that the carriageway stays in a safe condition for many years to come.
There will be a total closure of the M26 for these works, with diversion routes in place as per TTRO. These works will be clearly signed, with at least 2 weeks advance notice. Noise pollution will be monitored, and the local enviromental health authority have agreed noise limits which the contractor must adhere to.
