The Project
Work to resurface approximately 300 metres of the combined entry/exit slip linking the southbound A1 with the A6121 began on 31 March 2006 and was completed on Saturday 1 April 2006.
The work has provided a quieter and safer road surface on the sliproad and by carrying out the work at night the scheme was completed safely and quickly which kept delays to a minimum.
