Latest Roadworks Information
M1 Jct 6a to 10 Widening
For the period from Friday 28th November to Sunday 7th December 2008

Friday 28th November
- Between the hours 2300-0500 M1 J9 to J8 Lanes 4 &3 will be closed
The above closure is required for lighting works.
Monday 1st December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M25 J21 anti-clockwise slip to M1 northbound will be closed.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J6 to J7 northbound, Lanes 3&2 will be closed
The above closure is required for gantry works and surfacing.
Tuesday 2nd December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J8 southbound exit slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J6 and return - there will be no access to M10 southbound from M1 southbound, traffic will continue to M1 J6A then M25 to J22.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J8 southbound entry slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J9 and return.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J8 to J9 northbound, Lane 3&2 will be closed.
The above closures are required for gantry works and bridge joints.
Wednesday 3rd December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J9 to J8 southbound, Lanes 3&2 will be closed.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J8 southbound exit slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J6 and return - there will be no access to M10 southbound from M1 southbound, traffic will continue to M1 J6A then M25 to J22.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J6A to J9 northbound, Lanes 3 &2 will be closed - with all traffic using the northbound link road through Junction 8.
The above Closures are required for gantry and lighting works.
Thursday 4th December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J10 southbound entry slip will be closed.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J7 to J6A southbound, Lanes 3&2 will be closed.
The above Closures are required for gantry, communications and drainage works.
Friday 5th December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J9 to J8 southbound, Lanes 3&2 will be closed.
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J8 southbound exit slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J6 and return - there will be no access to M10 southbound from M1 southbound, traffic will continue to M1 J6A then M25 to J22.

Saturday 6th December
- Between the hours 2200-0500 M1 J7 to J6A southbound, Lanes 3&2 will be closed.

Sunday 7th December
