M6 Junction 32 Northbound Resurfacing
Part of our ongoing programme of work to maintain England's strategic road network
Where was the project located?
Works took place on M6 at junction 32, north of Preston, where the M55 joins the M6 northbound.
Why was the scheme needed?
The work was needed as the existing road surface was worn out and needed replacing.
What work was carried out?
Lane 1 of the M6 junction 32 northbound carriageway was resurfaced and the road markings replaced.
How did this benefit road users?
The new road surface will extend the life of the carriageway, provide a smoother, quieter journey and reduce the requirement for future maintenance.
