Wel­come to the Net­work Ser­vices (Net­Serv) Directorate’s Toolk­its home­page — a col­lec­tion of advice for use by those within the Agency, our ser­vice providers and stakeholders.

The Jour­ney Time Reli­a­bil­ity, Man­ag­ing Down Cost Pres­sures and Health and Safety toolk­its are a knowl­edge bank of ideas that range from the well estab­lished to the inno­v­a­tive. In some cases ideas may need to be taken for­ward as part of a trial or Depar­tures from Stan­dards may be required.  For the Jour­ney Time Reli­a­bil­ity and Man­ag­ing Down Costs toolk­its, a named spe­cial­ist owns each idea within the toolk­its, and will be happy to explore the suit­abil­ity and applic­a­bil­ity of the idea to your par­tic­u­lar scheme. Each sheet for these toolk­its pro­vides a clear descrip­tion of the idea, cou­pled with:

• Exam­ples of the idea being used, either in the UK or elsewhere.
• Advice on applic­a­bil­ity and deliverability.
• Essen­tial references.
• Con­tact details for the Idea Owner.

The Health and Safety toolkit con­tains an overview of the idea, as well as tech­ni­cal infor­ma­tion and a key fea­tures box.
