Traf­fic Eng­land offers a Cur­rent and Future Events table that pro­vides the abil­ity to search for planned and cur­rent road­works on the motor­ways and trunk roads that are man­aged by the High­ways Agency (Our Net­work Map illus­trates which roads we are respon­si­ble for).

Users can use this table to search for cur­rent inci­dents, acci­dents and other planned or cur­rent events that may be caus­ing dis­rup­tions and delays on our Network.

You can also down­load a print­able list of all sig­nif­i­cant sched­uled clo­sures and works.

We make every effort to ensure that this infor­ma­tion is up-to-date. How­ever, unsched­uled works may need to be under­taken urgently and occa­sion­ally planned works may need to be resched­uled at very short notice. A weekly XML file of all our known planned road­works  and events is avail­able from Data.gov. Road­works listed cover the period up to 15 days in advance from the date of publication.
