Traffic Demonstrators
Specialist Real-Time Traffic Demonstrators
The Highways Agency's principal real-time traffic information for motorists is Traffic England, which brings to your desktop real-time traffic information from the National Traffic Operations Centre.
The Agency has also developed some additional real time demonstrators for the English motorway network.
Our TrafficMap service gives you information about motorway incidents and what the motorway signs are saying.
The Real Time Traffic Service gives you current speed and flow information for five selected areas: M25/London, Kent, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. The traffic information is sent from equipment along the motorways to a centralised location where it is analysed and distributed.
M25 Sphere displays real-time incidents, and current and planned roadworks for the M25 Sphere. This information is supplied and updated in real time by Route Stewards at the scene of incidents.
Traffic Information for the Severn Bridge is available direct from the Severn River Crossing website. This includes live traffic updates on the status of both the M48 and M4 traffic crossings.
